I wear size med consistly. This shirt is a little big and boxy. I actually sewed it in on the side seams about an inch each, fits alot better. I get alot of compliments when I wear this on Hawaiian shirt Fridays. It washes very well and I take it out of the drier right away and hang it up otherwise I think I would have to iron it.The photo indicates form-fit, but the actual garment is rather boxyFalse ad photo edit NOT appreciatedThis Hawaiian made shirt is a wonderful weight with beautiful magenta hibiscus flowers against a dark blue background. With a nice stiff collar and coconut buttons, you'll be good to dress up or down for most any occasion!Love the colours, quality is good, fit is a bit big or boxy. I imagine it fits men better than women. Will try to taper it a bit to fit better for a woman. I usually wear a Medium women's size. 5'3", 120lbs. but glad I ordered a small, as it fits better.I like the colors I wanted to order a larger size, but they did not have it. It matches the mask I have, and bucket hatI went ahead and sized down to a large, I normally wear XL. I’m usually about a size 14 or 16. I feel that the shirt is a perfect fit, not tight but when I sit down it does tighten around my belly. I think I should’ve gone with an XL, but I really am questioning if it may be too loose. I will go ahead and stick with the large. I am losing weight and it didn’t shrink in the wash, I totally gave it about a 10min dry and took it out. Lastly, my last button keeps getting undone, I might have to replace it with a slightly bigger one so it won’t get undone. To me the shirt didn’t seem boxy but it’s not as cinched as in the photo.Bought this shirt for a friends Hawaiian themed birthday celebration. I was unsure of the fit based on comments from other reviewers so bought a selection of styles/sizes to be on the safe side. For the money, this is a nice shirt in good quality cotton. Of the shirts I ordered this was my favorite color but unfortunately the smallest size available was a small and I needed an x-small. The small would've worked if I'd wanted a looser fit and more length but there was another style available in an x-small so I went with that one. (For reference, I am 5ft 3" and typically wear a ladies 0-2.)I’m usually a size large. After previously ordering an xxl that was huge, I ordered an xl and it fits great. Keep in mind that the shirt does not have any darts, so it fits losely.
